14th Memory (triv-neut): Training with Kokuen and Spitfire AI (ch 185) Also including headcanon training alone with Spit AI [Trick 185]
[the memory starts off with a sweaty and exhausted Kazu talking to the Spitfire AI about the time stop technique he's been trying to land. There's lots of technical talk and Spitfire being a smooth bastard and maybe Kazu sort of blushing and stuttering at him before he goes off to try the technique...
and then training montage! Ends with Kokuen looking him over for injuries while Kazu pants for breath]
[there isn't a lot of emotion attached; mostly just Kazu focusing on what he's doing. But if you pay attention you can sense a grim, unpleasant determination, masking a fainter hint of sadness/anguish when he's talking to Spitfire, and a lot of frustration at his own lack of progress]
This memory is + nothing!! It only gives him confusion and worry. Why is the Flame King training him? What is the uneasy feeling he gets when he watches this memory? Why does it feel like he's always too weak?

THE SKY REGALIA... okay, that's a thing. A bad thing. Possibly a final boss. Kazu is mostly distracted by how much FUN he is having. Almost all his memories have been A-T related but they've all been of fighting! This memory of just cutting loose and being free is really...! It makes him sooo happy but also really restless, and he's going to start thinking about maybe getting hi hands on a pair....
